In my opinion the clarity and simplicity with which Guy Winch communicates his messages about what happens to us in response to rejection, failure, loneliness is incredibly valuable. He also provides insight on the really early signs of our ability to tolerate failure and find solutions. The fear and anticipation of rejection as a personal attack, which sometimes leads to social withdrawal and isolation which may not be based on real data, but rooted and acted out purely on the basis of these fears.
